If you have signed up for training sessions, either as a student or helper or leader, and have given your consent for your data to be held, the training officer of the Cheltenham Branch of the Gloucester & Bristol Diocesan Association of Church Bell Ringers holds the following personal data relating to Cheltenham Branch training:
We hold this data with your consent, to make it more straightforward to arrange targetted training sessions for branch members and people who are not yet paid members but are being trained within the branch. The information you supply will be made available to the Branch Training Officer and a small number of people who help with organisation of training. We do not share your data with any other organisation.
You have a right to access your data. Please contact the Branch training officer, who can send you this.
We do not intend to ‘process’ your data, other than making it available to those arranging training practices.
An email reminder will be sent yearly to remind you that we keep your data.
Under GDPR you have a right to ‘be forgotten’ i.e. have your data removed. If you no longer wish us to keep your data, please email the training officer. We will then remove your details from our spreadsheet.
Otherwise, your data will be retained until you are no longer a member of the Branch, or, if you are not a branch member, when you have indicated that you no longer wish to participate in training.
Your information will be kept in a Google sheet spreadsheet with very limited permissions. Google sheets are covered by Google's security and encryption.
In the first instance please email the branch training officer. However, if you believe that the Cheltenham Branch is not handling your data correctly, you have a right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
